Jaclyn Forrester

Jaclyn was born and raised in Southwest Virginia. Health, fitness and outdoors have been a passion of Jaclyn's since she was a little girl riding horses over jumps and through trails. She developed a love for balance and stability early on, walking fence lines on her property.

Fascinated by the body's ability to adapt she continued to train and grew more intrigued by fitness and what a healthy body can achieve. In college, she studied Exercise, Sport, Health and Education. She loved the program. Anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and nutrition were her favorites.

As a broke college student she practiced pilates and yoga via DVD's in her living room. When she graduated she began to seek out training programs. STOTT Pilates aligned with her passion of functional movement and even began to dabble in exercises that would assist in post rehab and injury prevention.

She is devoted to yoga on and off the mat. Remaining grounded, positive and giving back whenever she can. Jaclyn enjoys having a little fun on the mat. She finds that sometimes it's easier to play and take yourself less serious if an old school rap song happens to come on in the middle of your yoga class.

When she's not in the studio, Jaclyn spends her time volunteering at BARK, hanging out with friends and family and making memories traveling.
