Niche Reformer Instructor Training
At Niche we envision a Pilates Instructor Training Education program that provides an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in movement education. Our mission is to provide students with a breadth of knowledge that introduces exercise and movement history as well as dives deep into the education of Pilates principles and Pilates movement.
Our program fosters the development of students’ ability to recognize proper form and alignment, utilizing a cueing style that gives clients precise direction while allowing the instructor's personality to shine.
Training Dates
April 5th + 6th 10am-4pm
April 12th + 13th 10am-4pm
April 26th 10am-4pm
If you can’t attend a training date you are able to schedule a one on one for $100/hour. Note you will cover the material faster in a one on one session.
Students receive 10 Niche Classes, 10 hours of Observation, Free Niche On Demand and more to support their training and complete their practice hours!
*To enroll in our reformer Pilates training program, completion of our Foundations course is required for certification, unless you can provide proof of prior training in anatomy or a related field

Program Details
Registration process:
You can register for the course as soon you are ready to make the commitment. The self study material is already loaded onto the course for you to begin studying and reviewing. We close registration for the course one week prior to the start date so everyone has time to review the material.
If you can’t attend a training date you are able to schedule a one on one for $100/hour. Note you will cover the material faster in a one on one session.
Upon registration you will receive:
Access to the self study materials to begin studying and reviewing before in person training
10 free Niche Pilates reformer classes for personal practice hours
10 free Niche Pilates reformer classes for observation hours
Access to Niche on Demand for personal practice hours or observation hours at home
Reformer Pilates manual and Niche journal provided on your first day of training
Cohort newsletter for updates, discounts, checkins and inspiration
Welcome email that provides your Niche workshop discount
Program requirements:
Attend all reformer Pilates training dates in person
Download and read the training materials
Complete all of the comprehensive movement foundation + anatomy and reformer online training course videos
Complete 18 observation hours
Complete 50 personal practice hours
Complete 90 practice teaching hours
Pass all quizzes with 85% accuracy
Schedule, complete, and pass the test out for your Certification consisting of a Written exam, 30 minute teaching demonstration, 30 minute practical
If you do not pass the test out you are able to retake the test for $100 per section. You only need to make up the section that you fail. There are a total of three sections.
After passing and completing the course you will receive:
Niche Reformer Pilates certification
Knowledge & experience to teach Reformer Pilates classes or private sessions
Niche’s Reformer Pilates class template to utilize throughout your teaching career
Application to join the Niche Instructor team in Richmond, VA if we have available positions
Every two years you must complete and submit 12 hours of continuing education to keep your certification active and valid. Submit to our program coordinator at education@nichefitstudio.com
